About Paul Dobson

Paul Dobson, owner and founder of Barbury Kitchens Ltd first discovered his deep seated fascination with wood as a 5 year old boy whilst sat on his father’s work bench watching him, a master carpenter at work.
A life long passion for designing, engineering, building and constructing beautiful furniture from the most raw of raw materials was established in Paul.
To this day Paul’s absolutely commitment to excellence in design, craftsmanship, materials, finishing and installation is the foundation on which Barbury stands.
Barbury is a humble, understated business. There are no airs and graces, no unnecessary frills, just an unwavering focus on serving its clients and at the core, manufacturing beautiful, functional, lasting furniture.
Again these attributes are a reflection of Paul and his vision, values and purpose. The 25 year guarantee imposed by Paul on all furniture produced by Barbury under pins his beliefs.
Paul’s lasting fascination with crafting furniture from wood has lead to a 30 relationship with kitchen manufacturing, resulting in what is Barbury Kitchens today.
Our factory is driven by bench joiners not technology. Barbury makes Kitchens and furniture by hand in a sustainable, environmentally sensitive way. All of our raw materials are sourced carefully from sustainably responsible producers. A Barbury kitchen is built to last a life time.
Customer service, via an unassuming, humble, honest approach underpin the culture at Barbury Kitchens. A culture that is a reflection of Paul and all that he believes in.
In his spare time Paul manages a small holding, is an avid grower, gardner, keeper of bees and many animals.
